Nutty things happen in Washington, but this should make anyone’s top ten nuttiest.
Millions of dollars in American foreign aid has been given in the past several years to two Palestinian universities-- one of them controlled by the terrorist organization Hamas.
The money has mostly gone to scholarships to individual students, but several members of congress say the aid may violate American law. It also should violate common sense.
This appears to be part of a continuing policy of buying the love of people who are taught their god hates us and they should hate us, too. We see this sort of nutty behavior everywhere, especially in the state department. Radical Islamic clercis who have preached death to America and to Jews are brought here and given tours, thinking that will make them hate us less.
That isn’t going to happen and I question the wisdom of handing out American tax dollars to so-called students who are part of a system that wants us dead.
