If one is known by the company one keeps, what should we make of this?
Radical Islamists made hundreds of visits to the White House in the last four years, meeting with top administration officials. According to the investigative project on terrorism, court documents and other records have identified many of these visitors as belonging to groups serving as fronts for the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas and other radical organizations.
I could list names, but if you have been alert, you know them and their acronyms, starting with CAIR, which has long been a Washington lobbying group on behalf of Islamic interests. CAIR promotes Muslims for public office and individuals and groups that are anti-Israel and anti-American. And yet the administration welcomes them repeatedly to the White House.
They want relaxed security for Muslims at airports and changes in U.S. policy toward Israel, among other things. They have an agenda and it isn't one that's in America's -- or Israel's -- best interests.
I'm Cal Thomas in Washington.
