It's Back to School Time

By now, most children are back in school. Are some of them exposed to the National Education Association suggested lesson plan that will teach them that September 11, 2001, was partly the fault of the United States and that we might be as evil in some things as our enemies?

Will you who have children in government schools who know about the Planned Parenthood representative or the school nurse that passes out condoms to your sons and birth control and abortion information to your daughters? How about the gay rights representative who will tell your child that 10 percent of the population is gay and the teacher who emphasizes that there is nothing wrong with two men or two women living together and having sex?

These are the same people who will frown on any favorable reference to God and silence any student who takes a different point of view. They will label such ideas as "hate" and religious.

It's back to school time. Do you know what your children are being taught? Do you agree with it? If not, why are they still there? I'm Cal Thomas in Washington.
