Abortion: Less to do with Washington than the Human Heart

Yesterday was the annual March for Life on Washington. Thousands braved the aftermath of a snowstorm, gusty winds and cold temperatures.

I respect these people who are dedicated to protecting unborn human life. More than 55 million babies have been killed since Roe vs. Wade was decided 41 years ago. Family tree branches have been cut-off as these babies will not have children or grandchildren or any descendants of their own. Pro-lifers are called extremists and out of the mainstream, but if we are out of the mainstream, it is a stream that has been polluted by secularists and people who have rebelled against God.

The problem is less in Washington than in the human heart. We have forgotten God and the value he places on human life. When that changes laws will change, but not before. God bless the marchers, but may God send a revival and make us worthy of his blessing. I’m Cal Thomas in Washington.
