Yasser Arafat was a murderer, a terrorist and, if you believe some credible reports, a pedophile.
He also skimmed millions of dollars into personal bank accounts; money he had pledged to use to elevate his people.
His non resident wife lived it up in Paris.
She doesn't like the idea that her gravy train may be about to derail.
Of all the people to receive a Nobel Peace Prize, Arafat was the least worthy.
Now there's talk among wishful thinkers that a change in the Palestinian leadership might energize the so-called "peace process."
Would goebels or goerring replacing Hitler have slowed the Nazi holocaust or thoughts of world domination?
It isn't about the head, it's about the body.
And the Palestinian body is rotten to the core.
It wishes to eliminate Israel from the map and all Jews from the land.
They say so and have repeatedly proven their intention.
Now Tony Blair is coming to town, reportedly determined to get the bush administration to put more pressure on Israel to give up more land.
That formula has never worked, because the problem isn't Israel.
The problem is Arafat and millions like him.
