Israel Conceeds Again

November 18, 2005

Once again, the United States has pressured Israel into making a dangerous concession that will only result in more death and destruction. Secretary of state Condoleezza Rice pulled an all-nighter this week to force Israel to open two border crossings from Gaza, including a seaport.

What did the Palestinian side offer in return? Nothing. They never do. Correction. They will offer something: more death and destruction for Israel. That has always been their pattern. Israel makes concessions which the U.S. says are necessary in order to bring “peace” and when Israel gets more terrorism, it is required to give more. And when more unilateral concessions are made it gets even more terror.

When is someone going to stop this madness? Maybe the Bush administration thinks it needs a victory when things appear not to be going well in Iraq, but sacrificing more Jews is not the way to go.

When the terrorists smuggle weapons and homicide bombers into Israel and more are killed, will the administration take responsibility? Of course not. No administration does. I
