Chicago Planned Parenthood Protest is No Trivial Pursuit

It’s unlikely the creators of Trivial Pursuit will be issuing a Planned Parenthood edition, but pro-life advocates will be handing out fact-based “trivia” about the abortion vendor Tuesday evening, August 29. As Planned Parenthood abortion supporters participate in a Trivia Night fundraiser at Revolution Brewing in Chicago, the Pro-Life Action League will be hosting a protest outside of the Logan Square pub.

Eric Scheidler, executive director of the Pro-Life Action League, explained the focus of the gathering outside the abortion party. “There’s nothing trivial about abortion. While these partygoers are raising funds that ultimately contribute to the deaths of countless innocent children, we want to ensure they get the facts about the organization they’re supporting.”

The trivia fact sheets about Planned Parenthood include multiple choice questions, such as, “Which of the following has PP been caught doing? (a) Shielding child predators from the law, (b) Harvesting and selling body parts from aborted children, (c) Defrauding Medicaid or (d) All of the above.” The handout indicates the correct answer as “(d) All of the above.”

Scheidler added, “Revolution Brewing has made no secret of their pro-abortion leanings. They’ve publicly donated beer for previous Planned Parenthood fundraisers. We want to ensure there are no secrets about what Planned Parenthood does and Revolution Brewing supports.”

About the Pro-Life Action League

The Pro-Life Action League was founded by Joe Scheidler in 1980 with the aim of saving babies from abortion through direct action, and is now headed by Joe’s son, Eric. Not content to await a political or judicial solution to abortion, the League seeks to stop the killing of unborn children right now through all available peaceful means, including public protest, sidewalk counseling, education, youth outreach, and national leadership.
