A 4-day revival that began at Old Zion Baptist Church in the Hammond, Louisiana area last October is reportedly still going on today.

On October 16, 2022, about 125 people were in attendance during the first night of the revival, and 34 people surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ. Several days later, then Voice of Hope Ministries evangelist David R. Harrison set up his 2,500-seat tent as the revival continued to grow.

In an email to CBN News, Pastor Harrison shared an update on the revival eight months after it first began.

"The Awakening in Louisiana has truly been life changing. When God sent me there on October 17, I never would have dreamed we would still be there! It has been the most supernatural event I've ever seen," Harrison noted.

"Has there been many battles along the way? Yes! But it truly has been worth it all just to see the thousands of lives who have been changed! I'm so thankful and humbled that God would allow me and my family to experience such an amazing move of the Holy Spirit. To God be the glory, great things HE hath done," he continued.

"Thousands of decisions have been made for Christ! Salvations, restorations deliverance, and healings," the pastor reported in a previous email.

"After all these months, our largest attendance was 3 weeks ago under the tent. People from 17 states and 2 countries traveled to see what God's doing in LA," Harrison added.

According to the Voice of Hope Ministries website, approximately 118,032 people have come to faith since the ministry first launched in 2016.

"Our vision and mission is simple. Go into ALL the world and preach the Gospel to this dying generation," the website states.

The next scheduled event in the ongoing revival service will take place this Friday, June 30.
