Christian athlete Tim Tebow recently made a surprise visit to one of his biggest fans, an 89-year-old woman who had been praying to meet him.
According to ChristianToday.com, Tebow made the surprise visit to the home of Margaret Henderson of Atlanta, Georgia last Sunday.
Henderson initially couldn’t believe her favorite athlete was really in her home.
"That's not Tim Tebow!" Henderson said as Tebow greeted her with a hug. "Oh my God, you're kidding!"
Tebow asked Henderson how she was doing and she responded, "I prayed to meet you. I can't believe it... can I kiss you?" She proceeded to give Tebow a kiss on the cheek. "I love you,” she continued. “I love your mama, I love your daddy, I love Robby, and I love all of your family!"
Tebow thanked Henderson for her kind words and gave her a hug.
The Christian athlete is known for taking time to spend with his fans. In 2014, a fan named McKenzie Hoskins waited over 24 hours to meet with Tebow after a University of Tennessee football game. Tebow met up with Hoskins and even gave her a piece of cake.
Since leaving his football career, Tebow has begun a career in baseball. Last summer, he was signed to a deal with the New York Mets and he has been playing with their minor league team.
