ISIS Takes Credit for Failed Texas Shooting

ISIS militants claimed responsibility for a shooting that occurred outside a Texas art show on Sunday (May 3). According to USA Today, a security guard was wounded in the shooting and the two attackers were killed by police. 

ISIS released a statement Tuesday (May 5) claiming responsibility for the attack. 

"We tell… America that what is coming will be more grievous and more bitter and you will see from the soldiers of the Caliphate what will harm you, God willing,” the statement said. 

Authorities are investigating the incident and are currently unsure if they attackers were affiliated with the terrorist group.
