In recent months, Amazon began blocking the sale of books they deemed “dangerous” to LGBTQ people. Some of these books, to be frank, were hateful and demeaning. Others were deemed hateful for simply questioning the dominant narratives about homosexuality, gay marriage, or gender dysphoria. The most recent banned book, When Harry Became Sally: Responding to the Transgender Moment, is among the most scholarly and thoroughly researched on the issue of transgenderism.
On his podcast The Briefing, Albert Mohler said that Biden’s selection of Rachel Levine for a role in the administration is “big news” for both sides of the LGBT debate. “This is now going to bring the power of coercion,” Mohler said. “And it's going to bring about the process of further normalization.”
A California bill, AB 2218, would establish a “Transgender Wellness and Equity Fund” within the State Department of Public Health to benefit organizations, hospitals and health care clinics that “provide gender-conforming health care services and have an established partnership with a Trans-led organization,” according to the bill’s text.
