Museum of the Bible

Hobby Lobby has filed a lawsuit against a former classics professor at Oxford University. The professor is accused of selling the company stolen ancient fragments containing Biblical texts. 

As Americans commemorate the Tusla race massacre’s centennial, the Museum of the Bible will release a video series that will give the members of the Vernon Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church community, the only surviving Black business in that area from 1921, a platform to tell their story.

In partnership with the Museum of the Bible, Oklahoma Christian University will have the Sofer Collection, a unique collection of Jewish writings and culture, on display in the university’s Beam Library.

At the Museum of the Bible this week, Pastor James Ward asserted that God is calling us to return to Him to live and not to die.

Once again the Musem of the Bible is making headlines for its possession of stolen antiquities. This time, while conducting an investigation the museum learned that its Gilgamesh Dream Tablet was stolen from Iraq.

Just under 12,000 antiquities are being repatriated to the Iraqi and Egyptian governments by Steve Green and his Museum of the Bible. The artifacts, which were housed in the Washington, D.C.-based Museum of the Bible, were found to be either looted or stolen during a museum funded investigation into the facilities collection.

On Friday, the Museum of the Bible announced that an investigation found that all 16 of the Dead Sea Scrolls owned by the museum are forgeries.
