Suspected herdsmen and other terrorists killed 46 people Sunday night to Wednesday (Dec. 18-21) in attacks in predominantly Christian areas of southern Kaduna state, sources said.

Fulani herdsmen in Nigeria killed eight Christians in Bassa county, Plateau state on Thursday (May 5), after slaughtering at least 21 others in another area of the county in April, sources said.

Fulani herdsmen and others on Tuesday night (April 26) attacked four villages in Kaduna state, Nigeria, killing 18 Christians and burning down 92 houses, sources said.

According to sources, Fulani herdsmen in northern Nigeria wounded a pregnant woman and set houses on fire on Saturday in attacks on predominantly Christian villages near the city of Kaduna.

Fulani herdsmen killed 10 Christians, including three children, in an attack in Plateau state, Nigeria in the early hours of Friday (Nov. 26), sources said.

According to sources, Fulani herdsmen in north-central Nigeria kidnapped a pastor’s wife from her home and two nurses from a hospital, while other Islamic extremists may have joined herdsmen in abducting more than 70 people from one village.

In late April, Muslim Fulani herdsmen reportedly killed 12 Christians in Nasarawa state and three others in the Plateau state.
