A new Gallup poll showed a massive 20-year drop in church attendance in America. While some believers are worried about these findings, others see them not as the demise of true faith, but of “cultural Christianity.” And, they add, good riddance to it.

My pastor recently told me that 25 years ago, the first person that people would contact when they faced a marriage crisis was their pastor. Ten years ago, he continued, it was their counselor or psychiatrist. Today, it’s their lawyers.

Cities across America are getting ready for this week’s July Fourth celebrations. Near my neighborhood, the Dallas suburb of Addison (with nineteen thousand residents) is expecting 500,000 people for its fireworks show. Cities from New York to Los Angeles are preparing for spectacular parades. None are likely to resemble the parades with which June’s “Pride” month ended. A Washington Post headline calls last Sunday’s pride parade in New York City “one of [the] largest in [the] movement’s history.”

Joie Henney says his pet, Wally, likes to give hugs. Henney told reporters that his doctor gave him approval to use the five-foot-long alligator for emotional support rather than go on medication for depression. He frequently takes Wally to senior centers and minor-league baseball games. “He’s just like a dog,” he told a woman recently. “He wants to be loved and petted.”

Today you are one quick Google search away from answering that question and pretty much anything else that inquiring minds want to know.

While the globe is fixated on Sunday’s World Cup final in Moscow between France and Croatia, the world’s largest annual sporting event is taking place more than 1,600 miles to the west.

The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer (LGBTQ) movement represents a clear and present danger to the culture, to the Church, and to eternal salvation of millions because of its active rebellion against God’s design of gender, marriage, family, and purpose of sexual relations.

This four-part article:

1) clearly defines the dangerous threat inherent to the LGBTQ movement on the Church and the culture (click here to read),

2) looks the current failure and corruption within the Christian church (click here to read),

3) reviews the enemies game plan to date and how Satan is successfully using the LGBTQ lifestyle to further his goal of separating man from God (click here to read), and

This final part focuses on how we, as Christians, are to respond to the challenge the LGBTQ lifestyle presents. Our response must address both people and the lifestyle. We must first look at how to respond to those actively dealing with LGBTQ temptation and sin in their life. Then we can look at how we must respond to those who advocate, encourage, and/or celebrate the LGBTQ lifestyle.
