A man who fatally shot three people at a church potluck in Alabama last year has been sentenced to life in prison without parole.

A man suspected of killing five of his neighbors in Cleveland, Texas, was finally captured on Tuesday following a four-day manhunt.

At least five people in Texas were killed on Saturday by a gunman armed with an AR-15-style rifle. The suspect is on the run and, as of Monday, remains at large.

Cars were damaged on both evenings. Channel 5 said it pulled its TV crew from the area due to fears for the employees’ safety. Police were outnumbered, the station said.
