A restaurant that has a corporate mission to “glorify God” is officially the third-largest restaurant in the United States. Chick-fil-A climbed from No. 7 to No. 3 in the latest rankings by the Nation's Restaurant News (NRN) analysis after it had $10.46 billion in total sales in 2018, trailing only behind No. 1 McDonald’s ($38.52 billion) and No. 2 Starbucks ($20.49 billion). Chick-fil-A passed Subway to take the third spot.
