Over the weekend, Israel’s President and Prime Minister, Reuven Rivlin and Benjamin Netanyahu, respectively, offered congratulatory remarks to presumptive President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris after major media outlets declared them the winners of the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election.

In a taped address, Rivlin congratulated Biden and Harris saying, “Mr. President-elect, as a long-standing friend of Israel, you are now the leader of the free world and of the State of Israel’s closest and most important ally. On behalf of the Israeli people, I wish you and your future administration great success, and extend my invitation to you to visit Jerusalem as our guest.”

Netanyahu, too, offered warm regards, writing, “Congratulations Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Joe, we’ve had a long & warm personal relationship for nearly 40 years, and I know you as a great friend of Israel. I look forward to working with both of you to further strengthen the special alliance between the U.S. and Israel,” Netanyahu tweeted on Sunday.

According to CBN News, Netanyahu also thanked President Trump for his friendship with the State of Israel and to him personally during his time as President.

“Thank you, Donald Trump, for the friendship you have shown the state of Israel and me personally, for recognizing Jerusalem and the Golan, for standing up to Iran, for the historic peace accords and for bringing the American-Israeli alliance to unprecedented heights.”

From the Temple Mount, Israeli parliament member and activist Rabbi Yehudah Glick even issued Biden and Harris a prayer on Sunday.

"From the world’s center of God’s ruling of the world, God’s throne, God’s chosen place, Zion, I want to bless you President-Elect Joe Biden and Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris,” Glick said in a video on Twitter.

“God should fill your heart with His light, with His love. He should fill your eyes and your heart and your soul with his guidance. You should lead the people of the United States and America and lead the free world towards peace, towards connection to God, towards eternity, towards unity.”

At the time of this writing, President Trump and his campaign are pursuing litigation in several battleground states following multiple allegations of election fraud.

Trump, along with many of his supporters, are arguing that the mainstream media has called the election prematurely in favor of Biden and Harris.
