A giant 3,000-pound boulder recently burst through a home in Honolulu, Hawaii, narrowly missing a woman.

As reported by WLS-TV, home video footage showed that Caroline Sasaki was walking inside her living room right before midnight and was merely a couple of feet away from the oncoming boulder, which could have resulted in serious injury or death.

"Basically, I'm in shock. I refuse to look at the video," she said. "Everyone is telling me I'm lucky."

"I was very shaken," she said, according to Yahoo News.

Sasaki, the homeowner, and her family just moved into the home last month. At the time of the incident, which took place on Saturday, January 30, four people were at home, including Sasaki. Fortunately, none of them were hurt by the enormous boulder.

She told Hawaii News that she heard a loud noise but had no clue what had happened since it happened so quickly.

"I heard the loud boom, and, apparently, the boulder passed right in front of me," she noted. "I didn't see it."

Walking outside her home, she explained to a reporter how the boulder came crashing down from the hillside nearby.

"So the rock went through this CMU wall. It actually hopped over an SUV, which was parked right here in front of this wall. It hopped over it. I guess it crashed through here," she said, pointing to her car.

The boulder, which is reported to be about five feet in height and width, came down from a hill, crashed through a stone retaining wall, struck Sasaki's car parked outside her home and then took out the house's sliding glass doors, burst inside and ripped through the living room before ending in a bedroom.

According to CBN News, a construction company later removed the boulder. Information regarding what caused the boulder to crash into the home remains under investigation.

"God is with me," Sasaki said following the incident.
