Churches and other ministries are reporting hundreds of salvations and baptisms across the country, seemingly following February's spiritual awakening that began at Asbury University.
According to CBN News, Pastor Eric Petree of Citygate Church in Cincinnati, Ohio, said in two weeks, there have been more than 650 people choosing salvation.
"Over the past two weeks at Citygate we have seen 650 people give their life to Jesus, 93 baptized, and yesterday hundreds of people filled the altars seeking the baptism of the Holy Spirit."

Meanwhile, in Florida, West Bradenton Baptist Church lead pastor Sam Rainer tweeted on Sunday that his church baptized 21 people at the beach.

And at the Crossroads Church Jersey Shore Campus, 17 people were baptized recently, the church reported.
The University of Houston reported that several students were recently baptized in a public fountain after a Bible study. Finally, Regent University noted that nine students were baptized last week.
"We are still rejoicing over all the Lord did at our Thursday baptism service! As a Regent community, we were able to celebrate with 9 students who publicly declared their 'yes' to the newness of life found in Jesus," a tweet from the college said.
Meanwhile, Dr. James Merritt of Cross Pointe Church in Duluth, Georgia, posted about a 91-year-old man deciding to give his life to Christ.
"Today I baptized him as he verbally and publicly confessed his faith in Jesus. The #gospel is STILL the power of God to all who believe!"

But the increase in baptisms and salvation stories is not just happening at churches. The God Behind Bars ministry has reported that a prison in Reno, Nevada, had the first baptisms the prison has seen in seven years.
