Defending Marriage & the Natural Family

I am often asked by concerned Christians how to defend the biblical conception of marriage in a culture that rejects the authority of the Bible and seems determined to radically redefine marriage.

I will grant that this is not always easy, and to do so effectively requires that we rightly apply the principles put forth in Colossians 4:6, "Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone." The "salt" spoken of here implies an intelligent and rational argument which seeks to affirm the evidential truth of God's word. This is the essence of "cultural apologetics" and toward that end I wanted to share my recently prepared testimony for presentation to the New Hampshire State Legislature addressing same-sex marriage. I hope that you find it helpful for use in your day-to-day discussions with those who see no harm in the legalization of same-sex marriage.
