For most of the year, I raise money for nonprofits such as crisis pregnancy centers and Christian schools. Now I need to raise some money so these commentaries and the rest of our outreach work at Values Through Media can continue in 2007. I make this appeal but once a year. We don’t do “crisis” letters, or insult your intelligence by saying certain groups are coming to get us. We all get that kind of mail and to me, it is offensive.
In our monthly letter, we simply tell you what we are doing and ask you to support it if you agree with it. No wonder we don’t have a big budget. We’re not plugged into professional fundraisers and sophisticated techniques. We just have you.
