Who Started What Now?

June 27, 2006

Here’s a little something I found on the internet that may help you in your thinking and debates about the war. When liberals say Iraq never attacked us, tell them this:

Germany never attacked us, Japan did, but we declared on Germany as well as Japan.

Truman presided over the end of that war and got us involved in Korea. North Korea didn’t attack America.

John Kennedy led us into Vietnam. Vietnam didn’t attack America.

President Johnson turned vietnam into a quagmire when he couldn’t – or wouldn’t – win it.

Bill Clinton went to war in Bosnia without the consent of the UN or the French. Bosnia never attacked us.

Some democrats and a few republicans criticize the length of the war. But it took less time to liberate Iraq from Saddam that it took Janet Reno to take the Branch Davidian compound in Waco; it’s taken less time to find chemical weapons in Iraq than it did for Hillary Clinton to find her billing records from the rose law firm; well, you get the picture.
