Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I’m thankful for your listening to these daily commentaries and your support of values through media which makes them possible.
We should be most thankful for freedom, which decreasingly exists around the world. But as political freedom is in decline – and Islamic forces want to make it even less available, the freedom God offers in and through his Son remains available to all who will receive him.
We can be thankful for health – if we have it, wealth – if we have that – and freedom which too often has become license, but gives us choices available nowhere else.
We can be thankful for family, even it is sometimes dysfunctional, because we are all sinners and the family we have is the only one we will ever have.
I hope your Thanksgiving is wonderful and warm and memorable. Thanks for your support of these commentaries. God bless and keep you this Thanksgiving and always.
