"War Culture"

July 26, 2005

The Christian Science Monitor calls it "Jihad culture."

What it means is that homicide bombings are becoming the norm and not the exception.

In a report in yesterday's paper, The Monitor says the attack in Egypt on Saturday shows that the homicide bombing tactic has moved beyond Iraq into other countries.

At one time, one might have expected a young Muslim to pickup a rifle and fight the soviets in Afghanistan, but increasingly, despite Koranic prohibitions against killing civilians, homicide bombers are killing indiscriminately.

Even though a Brazilian man was tragically killed while being chased by British police, the aggressive "get them before they get us" tactic is a good one.

The radicals in Britain and America who praise death should be arrested, deported and silenced.

We've had enough explanations and excuses.

It's way past time to do whatever is necessary to prevent them from killing more of us.

If the next attack is a big one and ten thousand or more die, what will officials say then? This is war.

Let's get on a war footing and go get them.

Call it a "War Culture."
