Time to Investigate the Facts

The Washington Post is out with a new poll that shows President Obama has "double-digit leads" over Mitt Romney, the likely Republican presidential nominee. And the Post poll further shows a majority think Obama would do a better job of protecting the middle class, addressing women's issues and handling international affairs and health care.

If true, and I don't believe it is true, this would mean people are getting their information and impressions strictly from liberal media sources, like the Post, and not taking the time to investigate the facts.

Columnist Michael Barone singles out the so-called women's issues as one example of the questionable polling and notes that no other poll confirms this data, first reported weeks ago by USA Today/Gallup.

Expect more of this as the media are completely in the tank for the president and will go to any length to assure his re-election. Part of their strategy is to discourage conservatives. Don't be. The facts are on our side. Get them out.

I'm Cal Thomas.
