The Progressive's Great Hope: Ignorance & Apathy

If you read New York City Mayor Bill DiBlasio’s inaugural address you see the future of newly empowered progressiveism. It’s all about inequality and taking from the rich and giving it to the poor. It’s about more money for education, though all the money spent on education isn’t educating. That’s about teachers union jobs, not knowledge.

Google his inaugural address and see what you are in for. Yes, you, because hard left progressivism is coming to all of America if conservatives don’t fight back by demonstrating what works and how progressivism has failed and will fail again.

Ignorance and apathy are the progressive’s great hope. These are rampant in our political life. If people don’t pay attention to those who are looting our freedom and imposing the false god of government we will lose that freedom and not get it back. Polls show we are becoming more secular, especially young people, and more democratic as in that party. The successful are increasingly penalized while the unsuccesful are being subsidized. No city, state or nation can prosper in such conditions.

Think about it. Government is becoming our enemy because too many don’t care enough to elect the right people.

I’m Cal Thomas.
