The Military March of Gay Rights

October 21, 2010

The United States military will now accept openly homosexual recruits. In fact, military recruiters have been told to start signing them up, although gays are advised not to be too open about it just yet.

Once again, a California federal judge without any input from the public or the military has decided on her own to change military culture and make it part of the left's social experimentation process.

The policy could still be reversed on appeal, but like same-sex marriage, once it starts it is difficult to overturn. That's just what the gay rights lobby is hoping for.

I am not surprised by any of this. The world does what the world does and we have Paul's warning to Timothy what things will be like in the last days. But this policy will not only hurt recruitment; it will also cause some now in the military to leave, especially those who hold a biblical worldview.

The military traditionally has been allowed to discriminate because it looks for certain types of individuals it needs to win wars and defend the nation. There are military rules against adultery. Will they now be repealed in this march off the cliff into the chasm of political correctness?
