The Consequences of an Anti-Life Society

This administration may be the most anti-life in history. From Kathleen Sebelius, the HHS secretary, to the president himself, babies appear to be as great an enemy as terrorists.

The latest is the administration's decision to drop a court appeal on limiting the so-called "Plan B" oral contraceptive pill to older children and adults. The decision means that any girl can walk into a pharmacy and buy it over the counter without a prescription and of course without parental knowledge or consent.

After 55 million abortions -- and counting -- there is little moral sense about anything anymore. Nothing the human heart can conceive -- no pun intended -- is beyond approval by an increasingly secular society that does not know God and so doesn't fear Him. Younger people, in many cases the children of divorce, are less interested in marriage, choosing co-habitation and out-of-wedlock births when they aren't aborting.

The consequences will be evident not only in this generation, but in future generations, because God is not mocked. Whatever we sow, we also reap.
