With Yasser Arafat near death, or possibly already dead and on ice, the really bad stuff about him is starting to come out.
Not only is he a mass murderer, indiscriminately killing children, women and other innocents, he is an embezzler and, if you believe several credible reports, a pedophile.
One story says Israel's Mousad has a video of Arafat with young boys supplied by the late Romanian dictator Nicholai Ceaucescu, who is said to have taped his bedroom exploits.
Arafat may have one billion or more dollars socked away in Swiss bank accounts.
His show wife, Suha, who lives in Paris and not with him, doesn't want any of his associates getting near the money, so she is concocting stories about poisoning and other plots to kill him.
Once Arafat goes the way of all flesh, one hopes responsible leaders will emerge who really care for those known as the "Palestinian people."
But I wouldn't count on it.
The PLO leadership and their associates are full of people just like Arafat, differing only in degree.
None wants Israel to survive.
That should be kept in mind in the weeks and months ahead.
