New York Republican Congressman Peter King says he will hold hearings next month on radical Islam in the United States. An investigation is long overdue. From the immigration of radical Muslims to the radicalization of the native born, to our prisons where large numbers of especially black inmates are being converted to Islam, it has been clear to all but those in denial that we have a problem.
The left is howling "McCarthyism" and "witch hunt" and the rest of the predictable labeling we have come to expect. But serious questions need to be asked and information revealed to the public. The radical Islamists are open about their strategy for destroying America and killing more Americans. They don't hide it, but too many of us refuse to believe them because it makes us uncomfortable. Getting murdered is uncomfortable too, all right?
I say, good for Congressman King. Let the hearings begin and let's hear the truth.
