Once You Lose Trust What Else is There to Lose?

When you've lost someone's trust what else is there to lose? A new Quinnipiac University poll has found that for the first time a majority of Americans - 52 percent - say President Obama is not honest or trustworthy. A Gallup Poll released Wednesday showed a five-percentage-point drop just since September in his honesty and trustworthy quotient and a 10-point decline since the middle of last year.

The problems associated with Obamacare are the main reason, but the dishonesty of this administration in several other categories has contributed to these numbers.

President Obama ran twice on the notion that he could be trusted and wouldn't lie to us, like so many politicians do. These polls show he is just another politician who says one thing and does another, except in the case of Obamacare, he is lying about things that will affect us all. Impeachment isn't a possiblity with a Democratic Senate and the media, while doing a slightly better job of calling him out, doesn't have the fervor it had with George W. Bush, or any other Republican president.
