If we're serious about the war on terror, we are going to have to cleanse the evil among us.

The Washington Post has done some excellent work reporting on some of the Islamic schools in this country that are teaching children to hate America and to kill Jews. Look it up for yourself on their web page, www.washingtonpost.com

These schools should be closed as threats to the safety and security of the United States and their students, teachers and parents expelled from the country. The Justice Department should begin deporting illegal aliens immediately and keep an even sharper eye on those from countries that wish us ill.

All of this talk about tolerance and diversity must end. Over the weekend there were newspaper and Time Magazine reports of a nuclear bomb that may already be in this country and of Geiger counters that supposedly can detect nuclear weapons around Washington. This is a serious threat, folks, our response should be no less serious. September 11 gave us another chance. Nuclear weapons won't. I'm Cal Thomas in Washington.
