It's "Snowing" at the White House

April 27, 2006

President Bush has named journalist and Fox News host, Tony Snow, as his new press secretary. He could not have picked a more decent man.

No one I know dislikes Tony Snow. Even liberal democrats who claim to oppose everything he believes (which is a silly comment because no one opposes everything everyone believes) say nice things about Tony.

Let me tell you what I know about him. He is a serious family man and would not have taken the job if his wife and kids didn’t say it was o.k. He is also a serious and growing Christian. We have had many talks about Jesus Christ and our relationship with him.

His credibility and inherent decency will help President Bush to help himself out of the opinion poll doldrums. He has been promised access to the president and an advisory role. That’s good, because Tony will tell the president when he disagrees with him and why.

Pray for Tony and his family. And the President, too, which I hope you’re doing anyway
