India and Pakistan Clash January 1, 2002

India and Pakistan are on the verge of war on the first day of this New Year.  Both countries have nuclear weapons and both have suggested they might use them.

Pakistan is a Muslim nation and could, depending on circumstances, ask for help from other Muslim nations. Osama Bin Laden wanted a world war between Islam and the West. That's why he  attacked the United States. He should not be allowed to have his way.

President Bush has been on the phone with the leaders of both countries urging them not to start a war. Whether he will be successful is anyones's guess.

The President has said we are not at war with Islam itself, but we are. Islam is more than a religion. It is a political statement. Its religion is married to thestate and uses political power to impose its views. Islam is more successful
infiltrating other nations than Communism ever was. While there may be certain moderate elements in Islam, they do not have the power or the will to stop the radicals.

We must understand that Radical Islam wants to end America as we have known it and dominate the world. We have more to fear from Islam than the Nazis or the Communists.  Never have the words of Jesus from Matthew 24 seemed more current: there will be wars and rumors of wars; nation will rise against nations....but this is a preview of coming attractions.
