Impeachment Talk from 'Alternate Reality'

November 5, 2005

Liberal Democrats think they’re back in the 70’s. Talk of impeachment of President Bush is on their lips. They live in what Rush Limbaugh calls an “alternative reality.” They are unable to win votes to win bag their former majority. They have no ideas except to say “no” to republican ideas. They have no leader so they try to tear down the republican leader. They have nothing

.

They think the indictment of Vice President Cheney’s chief of staff for, at worst, bad memory on when he spoke with three journalists, when he spoke to them and what he told them, is akin to Watergate. They think Libby is the key to unraveling this White House. And they call President Bush a liar after shamelessly defending Bill Clinton for his serial lies.

The media has conveniently ignored the large number of people investigated, indicted, convicted and jailed during the Clinton years. But they are all over this administration for alleged and implied offenses. Does that strike you as unusual, or business as usual for the left?
