Grammy Awards Stunt Evidence of a Crumbling Culture

The mainstreaming of homosexuality and other forms of what used to be called deviant behavior has been slowly advancing for some time; mostly under the radar. In recent years it has burst forth in the form of same-sex “marriage” – or “mariage equality” in the latest euphemism.

The latest was last weekend's Grammy Awards which featured a same-sex wedding ceremony presided over by Queen Latifa. In addition, NBC (a once great network that prided itself on wholesome programming) has entered into a deal with Ellen Degeneres – an open lesbian – to produce a program about lesbian relationships.

This is the kind of stuff that provides evidence of a crumbling culture. When people stop believing in God in large numbers they tend to believe in anything. The moral and familial glue that holds most cultures together is breaking up in America. This probably won't be reversed, as a new generation accepts a new normal. And so it is left to individuals to look after their own families – teaching them truth, educating them with a biblical foundation in Christian or home schools and keeping the cultural rot on TV from their eyes and ears. I'm Cal Thomas in Washington.
