Finding Faith in the Media

Finding Faith in the Media

February 11, 2011

At our annual media dinner last week, the former cable anchor Laurie Dhue was one of our speakers. She opened up for the first time about her struggle with alcoholism and how the Lord had delivered her. Unknown to either of us, a reporter for a media website wrote about it. Laurie had not intended for her story to be made that public. But God had other plans.

"The Today Show" called and then CNN. She received more than 100 Facebook requests for help. She is open about her faith in Christ in her testimony. I hope you will order a CD and listen to Laurie and our other speakers. It was a powerful bunch and many unbelievers in the audience heard what faith in Jesus Christ can bring – in this life and for eternity.

If you’d like a CD of this year’s media dinner, send a check to Values Through Media.
