Cowardly Leakers

September 27, 2006

The leakers are busy again. Leaked documents, which the leakers took an oath to keep secret, claim the war in Iraq has made terrorism a greater threat. The New York Times and Washington Post and other papers made this front page news.

I have a question: what was responsible for terrorism and terrorists before the Iraq war?

The terrorists don’t need an excuse to kill people. The fact that Jews and Christians and Westerners exist is enough. They may cite the Iraq war, or comments by the Pope as a pretext, but if it wasn’t these things it would be something else. And why do you think all of this is coming out so close to the election? It’s because the liberals who leaked it wanted to do damage to the republicans.

We have a serious intelligence problem if people who swear to keep the nation’s secrets secret, leak them to the media for their own partisan political purposes. It’s the same with retired generals who speak out against the current policy. If it is so bad, they should have resigned before they retired. But they wanted to collect their pensions and so they waited for the safety of the retirement bunker.
