Constantly Reminded About The Battle

May 2, 2005

In addition to plugging my show on Fox, my next favorite show is "24" on Fox broadcast.

It's on tonight at 9 p.m. Eastern time.

"24" is the most realistic show I've seen on TV in many years.

It is right out of the headlines as radical Islamic terrorists seek to destroy this nation.

If you haven't seen it, I encourage you to watch.

It is intense, riveting and extremely well-acted.

It also serves as a warning of what the terrorists are trying to do to us on our own soil.

Do we need more warnings? Yes, we do!

They have shot down Air Force One, seriously injured the president and stolen the codes to launch a nuclear war.

They have also stolen three nuclear missiles and are preparing to detonate them, possibly killing millions, if we don't change our policy in the Middle East.

You can't get more real than this.

Please, watch "24" and tell as many people as you can to watch it.

We need to be constantly reminded about this battle and "24" does it better than anyone.

I'm Cal Thomas in Washington.
