German Chancellor Angela Merkel has stated the obvious: that attempts to build a multicultural German society have "utterly failed."
In a speech delivered in Potsdam, Merkel said the idea that Muslims would come to Germany, learn German and integrate into German society has not worked.
Anti-immigration feelings are growing in Germany. A recent survey suggested more than 30 percent of Germans believe the country is "overrun by foreigners." A study by a German think tank also showed that roughly the same number think some of the 16 million German immigrants, or people with foreign origins, had come to the country to take advantage of its social benefits.
It's the same in America, isn't it? Many foreigners from nations to the south as well as Muslim immigrants either come here for social benefits but refuse to integrate. The question now becomes: what next? Those who intend to conduct terrorism against the West are among us. We let them in. How do we find them and either throw them out, or stop them before they kill? My fear is that political correctness has made it too late to do anything.
