President Obama has joined other members of the G20 in Paris for the European Economic Summit. The main concern is Greece and its debt.
The Greeks have debt because U.S. bases have closed and because of their socialist government. Greece promised too much to too many people and required too little in return.
The Department of Agriculture reported this week that 15 percent of the United States is on food stamps, an increase of more than 8 percent in the last year. That's 45.8 million people.
Democrats are happy about this. They advertise to make sure more people get on food stamps. This is embarrassing. But liberals want to addict more people to government so they will vote for them lest their checks be cut off by those evil Republicans.
Democrats understand low human nature and that more people are willing to take than to make. This is why Greece is in trouble. This is why America is in trouble. And this will be the theme of the presidential election as Democrats haul out their tired playbook. And why not? It's worked before.
