Abortion Advocates Are Well Paid

June 21, 2010

The Obama administration continues to fixate on the destruction of human life. After saying he wanted to reduce the number of abortions, President Obama seems intent on increasing them.

The Government Accountability Office reports that between 2002 and 2009, the federal government provided about $1 billion in taxpayer money to organizations that promote abortion as a form of family planning. Nearly $660 million of that money went to Planned Parenthood, the nation's largest abortion provider. And let's recall that from 2002 to 2008, the ostensibly pro-life President Bush (though his wife is pro-choice) was in the White House.

Then last week, a federal advisory panel voted unanimously to recommend the Food and Drug Administration approve a drug that - as they say - helps prevent pregnancy if taken as late as five days after unprotected sex. In many cases, of course, this would mean after conception and before implantation.

It's just one more attempt by the Obama administration to promote death of the unwanted, the inconvenient and soon, under Obamacare, the elderly. You'll see.
