World Leaders Will Meet to Discuss Arab-Israeli Conflict

On Jan. 15, world leaders will meet to discuss the Arab-Israeli conflict. Writing at Charisma News, Jonathan Feldstein urges Christians to pray for Israel at this pivotal time.

Leaders from over 70 countries will meet in Paris to discuss the concerns of Palestinians and Israelis, and look to find viable solutions to the Arab-Israeli conflict.

Many, like Feldstein, fear that the outcome of this gathering will be much the same as the recent UN decision not to support Israel’s claim to the West Bank, a decision Feldstein calls “one-sided.”

The U.S. was especially criticized in that decision for abstaining from the vote, essentially allowing Israel’s rights to be overruled.

Feldstein urges fasting and prayer to be made leading up to this important meeting. To that end, he provides some words of exhortation and encouragement from those who are interceding for God’s Will to be done regarding Israel.

"We are with you in this war. Our hope is in God, not in man. Only God can show the way,” one person said.

"Each of us is given areas of influence, and it's time for us to rise up and speak on behalf of the land given to the Jewish people to those in our sphere of influence. I pray we will not remain silent, but we will see an Esther generation coming forth in this time and season,” wrote another.

Will you join the prayer effort as we anticipate the meeting on Sunday?
