White House Glosses Over Christian Targets in Kenya University Shooting

Al-Shabaab militants attacked Garissa University College in Kenya last Thursday (April 2) killing 147 people. The Muslim extremist terrorists targeted Christians in the attack, according to multiple witnesses.

Real Clear Politics reports the White House has refused to admit that the Muslim extremists targeted Christians to be executed.

President Barack Obama made a statement after that massacre that “innocent men and women were brazenly and brutally massacred.”

He continued that the U.S. would stand with Kenya people “in their efforts to bring communities together.”

Secretary of State John Kerry also made a statement and urged steadfastness against “violent extremism.” Real Clear Politics writes that the Obama administration refuses to use the term “Islamic extremism.”

Rich Lowry of Real Clear Politics is critical of the way the White House has glossed over religiously-motivated attack.

“...if coldblooded killers gun down Christians for their faith, he (Obama) turns to careful verbal gymnastics,” he wrote.

“As a matter of sheer intellectual honesty, we should be forthright about the religious hatred that motivates attacks on Christians.”
