Updated 4:10 p.m. EDT Apr. 15, 2013 -- At least two people were killed and 23 injured after explosions at the Boston Marathon finish line, reports The Boston Channel. The blast happened around 2:50 p.m. Monday near the intersection of Boylston and Exeter streets, about three hours after the winners crossed the line. Witnesses reported store fronts blown out and bloody spectators were carried away from the scene. The race was stopped and the area is being evacuated. The first explosion happened across from the Lenox Hotel and the second blast was about 15 seconds later, witnesses said. Many of the injuries appeared to be spectators who gathered to watch the race.
