Mike Huckabee, Jeb Bush Warn of Impending Danger of Gay Marriage

Republican presidential candidates Mike Huckabee and Jeb Bush are warning against the dangers gay marriage pose to Christianity before the Supreme Court makes its ruling on legal same-sex marriage at the end of the month.

Charisma News reports Huckabee sent a letter to conservative leaders across the country, warning that legal gay marriage could lead to the criminalization of Christianity.

"I refuse to sit silently as politically driven interest groups threaten the foundation of religious liberty, criminalize Christianity, and demand that Americans abandon Biblical principles of natural marriage," Huckabee wrote.

At the same time, Jeb Bush is rallying Christians to stand up for traditional marriage, according to Christian Today.

Speaking at the Faith and Freedom Coalition Conference, Bush said, "...we should not push aside those who do believe in traditional marriage.”

"We need to make sure that we protect the right not just of having religious views, but the right of acting on those religious views.”
