Jill Duggar Dillard has announced that that the baby she is carrying is another boy.
Jill, who, along with her sister, Jessa Duggar Seewald, stars in the TLC show “Counting On,” shared the exciting news in a video posted by TLC.
Jill and her husband, Derick, have another young son named Israel.
In the video announcement revealing the baby’s gender, Jill says, "We're really excited about having another son, and I know that Israel and this one will be best friends. She added that she "had morning sickness in the first trimester" but is now feeling much better now that she is in her second trimester.
"Israel can't really understand what's happening, but he's excited because other people are excited," stated Derick, adding that he believes having a little brother will be good for Israel so he can learn how to share.
"We're really excited about this new little blessing from God," Jill says at the end of the video.
Jill and Derick initially announced their second pregnancy in December. Jill’s younger sister, Jessa, is also pregnant with her second child. Jessa and her husband, Ben Seewald, have not revealed the gender of their baby, but Jessa did recently use the occasion of her baby shower to donate gifts to a pro-life pregnancy center.
