Israeli Woman Who Joined Fight against ISIS Gives Life to Christ

An Israeli woman who joined the fight against ISIS has reportedly given her life to Christ.

According to Breaking Christian News, Canadian-Israeli Gill Rosenberg joined the Kurds in their fight against ISIS. Rosenberg was one of the first foreigners to join the fight, and the first woman to join.

Rosenberg recently came to faith in Christ. A video was taken of her baptism. However, Breaking Christian News reports that the video was taken down from the source’s website, likely due to security reasons.

Rosenberg immigrated to Israel where she joined the Israeli Defense Forces. She was then involved in a phone scam and brought to the U.S. where she was jailed.

She said joining the fight against ISIS was a way to “turn my life around and do something good for a change.”

Although Rosenberg violated her parole conditions by traveling to an enemy nation, Israel decided not to punish her due to her heroic decision to join the fight.
