ISIS Threatens Vatican Church, Group Says It Will Conquer and Kill

ISIS militants have sent the Vatican a public threat, saying that they intend to “conquer” Rome. The terrorist organization released a propaganda magazine with an image of the ISIS flag flying from the obelisk in St. Peter’s Square.

The article that coincides with the image tells Muslims to kill "every crusader possible...wherever they can be found."

"At this point of the crusade against the Islamic State, it is very important that attacks take place in every country that has entered into the alliance against the Islamic State..." the article says.

"Every Muslim should get out of his house, find a crusader and kill him...And the Islamic State will remain until its banner flies over Rome."

In response to the threat, the Vatican has increased security.
