The Rev. Franklin Graham has soundly condemned Caitlyn Jenner’s upcoming nude photoshoot which will be featured on the front cover of Sports Illustrated, saying it is an example of the moral decline of the nation.

According to The Christian Post, Graham addressed the news that the former Olympian transexual would pose nude on the cover of Sports Illustrated, stating, “There’s a lot wrong with that picture.”

Jenner will reportedly pose nude for the magazine, wearing only her Olympic gold medal and draped in the American flag.

In his Facebook post on the topic, Graham wrote: "What happens when you remove biblical standards and leadership from a country? Moral bankruptcy, that's what. As our culture abandons its once cherished Judeo-Christian foundation and values, godly traditions disappear and we sink deeper into secularism."

Graham also railed against the recent New York Times story which questioned whether prostitution should still be considered a crime, as well as the recent suggestion that Disney should give Frozen heroine Elsa a lesbian girlfriend.

Jenner, who set a world decathlon record at the 1976 Olympic Summer Games in Montreal, is posing for Sports Illustrated as part of the fortieth anniversary celebration of her win.

Jenner told ABC’s Diane Sawyer last year that her true identity is female: "For all intents and purposes, I'm a woman. People look at me differently. They see you as this macho male, but my heart and my soul and everything that I do in life — it is part of me. That female side is part of me. That's who I am."
